ASLO status
The ASLO statute regulates the structure, functioning and objectives of the association. The main provisions of the statute include:

  • Objectives of the Association: To represent the interests of its members in relation to public authorities, national and international organizations and other stakeholders.
  • Organizational structure: Includes the General Assembly, the Board of Directors and other specialized committees.
  • Duties of the Board of Directors: Management of the day-to-day activities, elaboration and implementation of the development strategy, adoption of decisions necessary to achieve the objectives of the association.
  • Membership: Membership criteria and rights and obligations of members.

 

ASLO Mission
ASLO’s mission focuses on several main directions:

  1. Promote the concept of operating leases: Inform and educate the market and the public about the benefits of operating leases.
  2. Representing the industry: Advocating members’ interests to the authorities, ensuring that regulations and public policies are conducive to the development of operational leasing.
  3. Standardization and best practice: Promoting and implementing standards and ethical practices in the industry.
  4. Co-operation and dialogue: Facilitate co-operation between members and between members and other relevant entities, including internationally.
  5. Innovation and Development: Encourage innovation and development of new products and services in the field of operational leasing.

ASLO plays a crucial role in consolidating and developing the operating leasing market in Romania, ensuring that it evolves in line with international best practices and responds to the needs of the national economy.
